Lady Gaga evacuates home and 'sends prayers' while sharing footage of Malibu wildfires on Instagram

Lady Gaga was forced to evacuate her Malibu home on Friday amid terrifying wildfires.

The 32-year-old A Star is Born actress, who was honoured by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on Thursday night, used her Instagram Story to update fans on the status of her house.

The first clip shows two vehicles waiting as several people walk through frame carrying belongings.
Billowing smoke fills the sky in the background while a caption at the bottom of the frame reads 'evacuating earlier (sic) this morning.'

More shots show just how close the smoke is to her opulent Mediterranean-style mansion.

The next clip appears to be shot from inside a car that is stationary on a road.

More smoke is visible, while the caption was changed to 'sending my prayers to everyone today.'
A final shot shows a particularly black cloud of smoke dwarfing a home and a grove of palm trees.

The Woolsey Fire also reached the Kardashian-West pad in the Hidden Hills neighbourhood on Friday afternoon, according to TMZ.
While she and her family were evacuated, she kept her fans posted about the status of their property via Twitter with a statement saying: 'heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment. It doesn't seem like it is getting worse right now. I just pray the winds are in our favour. God is good. I'm just praying for everyone is safe.'

Around the same time reports emerged that Caitlyn Jenner's 3,500 square foot, 4-bedroom pad overlooking the Malibu beach was destroyed by fierce flames from the same blaze.
The Woolsey Fire has already scorched at least 9,600 acres north of Los Angeles since igniting near Rocketdyne at around 2pm local time Thursday.

Both fires are zero per cent contained as of 11am on Friday, and dozens of communities on the border of Ventura and Los Angeles counties have been ordered to evacuate as the flames approach.
