The Spice Girls have been pictured together for the first time since the scandal surrounding Mel B and Geri Horner's alleged lesbian romp came to light.

The foursome, comprising of Mel, 43, Geri, 46, Mel C, 45, and Emma Bunton, 43, posed happily together in the striking shot which will no doubt delight fans.

Earlier this year, the girls' reunion was rocked to its core when Mel B claimed she had enjoyed a dalliance with her bandmate in their heyday, however, Geri countered the claims and insisted nothing noteworthy took place.

The ladies proved any woes are well and truly in the past as they posed happily in the snap, with Mel grinning at the group and Emma laughing.

Geri turned to face Mel C, who was belting out a track while rocking a Spiceworld vest which bore the artwork from their 1997 album.

Mel B jetted into the UK last Thursday after spending the first week of rehearsals FaceTiming her bandmates from her LA home, in the wake of the drama surrounding her admission that she slept with Geri in their heyday.

The band were surrounded in controversy after the outspoken singer claimed on a taping of Piers Morgan's Life Stories that she and Geri had a sexual fling which lasted for a whole year during the height of their fame in the 90s.

The tour was even in jeopardy at one point after Geri denied Mel B's claims in a statement and said she felt 'hurt' by the speculation, wanting to move on she added that she still loved all four of her bandmates and was looking forward to the tour.

However, during an appearance on This Morning earlier this month, Emma revealed that things were 'peaceful' as rehearsals got underway.

'Being a girl band, something connects us so deeply, there are little things that family's do… as soon as we are back together, it's like kids at school,' she explained.

'Our children come to the rehearsals, they hang out, we haven't got time to be anything but [peaceful].'

The star also stressed during a recent appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show that things were 'all good' between the girls amid the sex bombshell.
