Footballing concerns were put to one side on Thursday as Joe Hart enjoyed a day out with wife Kimberley in Hale, Greater Manchester.

The former England goalkeeper faces an uncertain professional future with current club Burnley after being dropped in December, but spirits were high as the couple took a stroll through the picturesque village.

Opting for a casual tracksuit top and jogging bottoms, Joe, 32 - who raises four-year-old son Harlow with Kimberley - looked relaxed as he cradled a friend's infant daughter.

Joining her husband, Kimberly, 35, caught the eye in a stylish camouflage jacket and leggings, teamed with running shoes.

The couple married in a romantic Italian city Florence following a two-year engagement in June 2015.

The shot-stopper got down on bended knee during a boat ride off the coast of stunning Mexican resort Cabo in 2013.

Joe gave a rare insight into home life when he spoke to The Telegraph later that year, admitting he preferred quiet meals at his Cheshire home with Kimberly over wild nights out with his footballer pals.

'I'm not good at DIY or cleaning but my cooking is OK,' he said. 'The club's kitchen staff are very good, they give you the stuff to take home or baby-talk you through cooking, which is what we require – we're just lads trying to look after ourselves.

'At home, I can happily watch Test cricket all day. The England team are my heroes. I should say that I spend time reading but I don't, although my mum will kill me for that because she is into her arts.'

Joe could leave Burnley on a free this summer - with French clubs in the running to be the former England goalkeeper's next destination.

Manager Sean Dyche snapped him for £4million at the start of the season to cover for injuries to Tom Heaton and Nick Pope.

But with the goalkeeper stuck on the bench following Heaton's return, The Clarets are considering allowing Hart to leave to save on his wages which are high by Turf Moor standards.
