After a freezing rain accident, Jeremy Renner is in a serious  but stable condition

After a snow-plowing mishap, Jeremy Renner was taken to the hospital, where his condition is severe but stable. The spokesman stated, “We can confirm Jeremy is hospitalized with injuries after suffering a  weather-related mishap while plowing snow earlier today. He is in critical but stable condition.” He is superbly cared for and has his family by his side.

Around 9 a.m. local time (noon ET) on Sunday, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office reported that it had responded to a report of a traumatic injury in the vicinity of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada. Sheriff’s  office: “Deputies cooperated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to  arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital.”

Above Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Renner is the owner of a ranch. 35,000 houses lost power in the area on New Year’s Eve due to a winter storm that slammed the area. The “blizzard of the century” struck a large portion of the US over the last week, killing at least 60 people nationwide.

Officials issued a warning about icy roads and winter driving conditions over the weekend to those who planned to go over the Sierra Nevada.

The Marvel actor, who portrays master archer Clint Barton/Hawkeye in both the Disney+ series  “Hawkeye” and the superhero Avengers films, sustained his injuries while plow Sunday, a spokesperson for the actor informed The Associated Press. Regarding the severity of Renner’s wounds, nothing further was known.

He has received back-to-back acting Oscar nominations for “The Hurt Locker” and “The Town,” making him a two-time contender. Renner became well-known thanks to his role as an Iraqi bomb disposal  technician in the 2008 film “The Hurt Locker.”

His family is by his side as he receives care, according to a statement provided to numerous media sites,  including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Deadline. It is unknown where the actor was harmed; he owns a house in Nevada.

Inquiries about the associated channel have been directed to Renner’s representative.

Renner was hurt in Reno, according to a news release from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, and was taken to the hospital by helicopter. According to the release, he was the only individual involved, and the sheriff’s office is looking into it. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation  Team is investigating the incident’s circumstances, according to the report.

The actor shared a picture of a snowcat vehicle—a vehicle used in icy conditions—on Instagram in 2015.  It was unclear right away if the car was a part of the incident on Sunday.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that on New Year’s Eve, Washoe County saw a significant snowstorm that caused local authorities to issue a “shelter in place” order. By Sunday morning, roughly 17,500  homes were still without power in the area because of the storm’s widespread power outages.

The 51-year-old Renner presently plays the mayor of Kingstown in the Paramount+ series. On January  15, the second season will begin.

He has been in the films “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” “American Hustle,” and “Mission:  Impossible – Rogue Nation,” and has received two acting nominations for the roles he played in “The  Hurt Locker” (in 2010) and “The Town” (in 2011).

On the set of his film “Tag,” when he was performing a stunt, he announced in 2017 that he had  fractured both of his arms.

According to a report from Variety earlier this year, he is reportedly set to star in the unscripted Disney+  series “Rennervations,” in which he will assist in reestablishing communities around the globe.

You know, I kind of like to figure things out. Although it will have an impact, Renner assured that she  would quickly recover: “I won’t be prevented from accomplishing the things I need to be doing.” To heal more quickly, I’m making every effort possible.

By the time the TV show came around, he made light of the fact that his Hawkeye movements had  become “a little bit more painful.”

I’m fifty and wearing tights. In 2021, he jokingly said, “I make it (crap) seem good. It’s a blessing, you know. Even though I take my profession seriously, I never forget to enjoy myself.”
