Gillian Anderson requests that women submit to her their fantasies about sex

Women from all around the world are encouraged to get in touch with Gillian Anderson anonymously to discuss their sexual dreams.

In a video uploaded on Instagram, Anderson, who portrays outspoken sex therapist Jean Milburn in the popular Netflix series “Sex Education,” announced that she is “launching a huge examination of women and sex.”

The 54-year-old actress, who was lounging in a burgundy armchair, encouraged ladies to submit her their “most personal wants” for a book she claimed to be “curating.”

“As women, we know that sex is about more than simply sex, yet so many of us don’t talk about it,” the Golden Globe winner remarked.

“Our most secret desires and worries are kept hidden within us. till someone with the key shows up.

“The key is right here. I’m compiling a book of the anonymous letters you’ve sent to me. A book examining how women view sex as necessary since sex touches on issues such as motherhood and womanhood, consent and respect, fairness and egalitarianism, love and hate, pleasure and agony, betrayal and exploitation, and many more.”

Whether anyone, viewers were asked if they had a secret fantasy they would only ever reveal with their “most trusted” people.

“Wherever you come from, whether you’re 18 or 80, you sleep with men or women or non-binary people or all of them or none at all,” the British-American actress continued. I’m curious about your deepest aspirations.

“Let’s start a dialogue and produce something revelatory together.”

Participants were instructed to use the “Dear Gillian” salutation and transmit their letters through the secure channel listed in their Instagram accounts.

This week, Anderson, who gained notoriety in the 1990s for her role as agent Dana Scully in “The X-Files,” published a piece in The Guardian outlining the reasoning behind her odd request.

She selected “My Secret Garden: Women’s Sexual Fantasies,” a book by Nancy Friday that she said “was groundbreaking, even shocking,” and that went on to become “mandatory reading for everyone, a multimillion-copy global bestseller, a classic.”

Anderson claimed that she only read the 1973 book in 2018, to prepare for playing Milburn in the movie.

Its raw, terrible honesty rocked Anderson, he claimed.

Anderson noted that since the debut of “Sex Education,” she has frequently been questioned about whether women try to confide their sexual secrets and issues in her.

They don’t, she explained. This is ultimately what inspired me to write a book that would be revelatory, meaningful, and inclusive to all people—a “My Secret Garden” for the 21st century if you will.

“Gillian Anderson’s editorship will help us bring in a wide range of letters from all parts of the world,” Bloomsbury Trade chief Alexis Kirschbaum said in a press release emailed to another reputed channel on Thursday. “I cannot wait to read the letters she selects to include in her collection.”

When it comes to bras, Gillian Anderson declares, “I don’t care if my breasts reach my belly button.”

According to Gillian Anderson, she “never longer wears a bra,” saying to her followers, “I don’t care if my breasts reach my belly button.”

“The actress from “The Crown” admitted to her followers during a live Instagram Q&A session that she no longer wears a bra. I’m unable to wear a bra. Sorry, I’m not wearing a bra anymore, it doesn’t matter if I reach my belly button or my breasts do.”

The American-British actress concluded by giving the undergarment a disapproving assessment, declaring: “It’s simply too f**king uncomfortable.”

Anderson, a former “X-Files” actor who gained a ton of new admirers for her part as a blunt sex therapist in the Netflix series “Sex Education,” was responding to a question from a fan about what clothes she wore during the lockdown.

Many of her followers responded to her statement on social media, with one tweet becoming viral that read: “If two-time Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress Gillian Anderson says no more bras, who are we to disagree?”

“I applaud Gillian Anderson’s attitude toward sagging breasts — it highlights our love-hate relationship with an item of clothing that is supposedly good for us, without necessarily being good to us,” wrote writer and social activist Nicky Clark in an opinion piece for the British newspaper The Independent.

Anderson’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in Netflix’s “The Crown” earned her a Golden Globe earlier this year for best supporting actress in a TV series.

She also frequently exhibits a carefree attitude toward the human form. The use of the hashtags #PenisoftheDay and #BoobiesoftheDay in Anderson’s Instagram posts is well-known among her followers.

Eleanor Roosevelt will be portrayed by her in the series “The First Lady.”

Some people find Gillian Anderson’s American accent confusing

Some folks may have been reminded by the Golden Globes that Gillian Anderson was born in Chicago.

Anderson’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in Netflix’s “The Crown” earned her the award for best supporting actress in a TV series.

She used her American accent to accept the award, which amused Twitter.

“The Spinoff TV’s” Sam Brooks, a writer and culture editor from New Zealand, tweeted that “Gillian Anderson picked her American accent for tonight.”

Anderson was born in the United States and later lived in Puerto Rico and London before moving back home.

She rose to fame in the American series “The X Files,” but she has also been in several British productions, such as the crime thriller “The Fall” and the Netflix comedy “Sex Education,” both of which were set in Northern Ireland.

Anderson has been a resident of London for some time.

People have long been interested in her ability to transition between an American and a British accent, and in 2009, she told the British newspaper “The Telegraph” that “even on the phone, my accent will change.”

She said, “I wish I could control it, but I can’t.” “I simply transition between the two. I made a concerted effort to maintain my British accent when I immigrated to the United States because it helped me stand out.
